Playtime

We're finally having some nice spring weather, so we've been spending some time enjoying the outdoors.

Easter!

Easter, my favorite holiday. It holds such hope and promise. We serve a risen Savior!

And, it's fun to dress the kids up and have Easter egg hunts. Too bad I didn't get any good shots of Ainsley in the dress I made her. sigh. We'll have to have a reshoot.

First thing in the morning the kids got their Easter baskets. Then we had a fantastic breakfast at church followed by a lovely service, and then a church Easter egg hunt complete with bouncy house.

After church we drove to Alberta to share Easter dinner with Jenn's family. And have another Easter egg hunt, of course.

Here's some pictures:

The Zoo

During our Calgary trip, we spent a lovely Saturday at the zoo. The animals were at their best, and I took about 200 pictures. Which will not all be shown here. (go ahead, breathe a sigh of relief. I know you want to.) So, I tried to pick my favorites.

Yay, zoo!

First animal as soon as we walked in.. this gorgeous tiger.

Crazy red panda knows there's food behind that door...

A decent family picture!

Elephant with tusk grills. Fo shizzle.
